The First Months’ Blur

Author: Pete

It’s been a busy one.  At the same time that Miranda and I were trying to find our own traction in space, the newborn’s gravity pulled a tide of friends and family our way from the other side of the earth.  The subsequent month or two went by as a emotionally charged, sleep-deprived blur as we hosted favorite folks from all over, wrapped up the school year, and honed our baby systems in a trial by fire.  I can barely get out of the house with the same color socks on these days let alone enunciate my thoughts, so this one is going to be all pictures!

And that’s the seven minutes of down time and single-task concentration I have allocated for this month!  Stay tuned for the next installment!

Oh Pete, what a treat for us that you found a free moment to share pictures of Leonie. Such a cutie and the look on her face when she is looking at you or Miranda … she loves her mommy and daddy that’s for sure.

Hope things settle down for you. 🙂

    Hugs, Chris

Hi Chris! Glad to hear from you! I’ve been meaning to get some pictures up for months now! There are a few more posts in the works that should be out soon, rife with gratuitous baby pictures! My folks had a great time when they went to see you! Hope you and Charlie are well!

      Hugs,

      Pete, Miranda, and Leonie

Great to have the update on your new lives avec boo!

As usual, enjoyed the humor and pix…do they not call that baby carrier a “snugli” over there…sure looks it 😉

Wishing you a great second year in Zug!

Thanks for keeping us in the loop and hello to Miranda.

    Warmly from the Appalachians,
    Paul

PS the cloudy mtn shot reminds me of how raw and bigger than us those mtns are…

      Hey Paul!

Nice to hear from you! Glad things are going well in the Smoky Mountains! It’s nice to be back in vertical terrain after so much horizontal blue. I’m sure you felt the same way after your Mongolia trip coming to Santiago! Tell your Colombia friend nos hace falta mucho la Colombia!

Let us know next time you’re on this side of the pond!

      Pete
